ready to Cuddle!
The only time Sophia actually cries is when its "Bath Time". So needless to say we HATE bath time as much as she does! On a normal day we will give her a bath before she goes to bed with the night time bath wash following the night time lotion. Those two work really really well. So anyways, we just couldn't understand why she doesn't like the water. We thought maybe it was the actual bath so my got her a nice pink one that has a hammock inside of it. That worked a little but only for her little moving body, but not for the cries! The last two nights she has fallen asleep before we were able to give her a bath and we decided not to wake her up. So needless to say we HAD to give her a bath today! So this afternoon we set up everything like we normally do at night time minus the night time wash/lotion. I put her in the tub and complimented Joe on how good the water felt( it normally does feel good, but today it was just perfect!). We then were in for a shocker~it was quiet! NO CRYING!!! Instead of us rushing the bath along like normal we were able to give her the bath of a lifetime! Even when we washed her hair and face she didn't make a sound. After we were finished washing her we let her just sit in the water and move around on her own. We then layed her down on her towel and wrapped her up/dried her off/lotioned her up. Still NO CRYING!!! When I finished dressing her she had a little smirk on her face. Joe and I can not believe how well she did. I was so proud of her I just hope she keeps this up. Were thinking that maybe she cries like that at night because she is tired.

Well, I'm not sure if this Pedialyte is working or not. Her Dr. said I need to give her two bottles in place of her formula bottles for 48 hours and if that didn't work then to give her two table spoons of the rice cereal in her formula. Well, we have been giving her the Pedialyte, but we haven't been able to give her exactly what the recommended she doesn't care for it so it's harder for her to drink it all. So were going to give it some more time and then we'll give her the cereal either later tonight or tomorrow. Yest she had went twice and then she just went like five min ago and it was still not normal it actually looked watery.
Earlier this afternoon I was sitting on the sofa feeding Sophia and I heard fire engines and I went to the front door and I then saw them...coming into our court! We went outside and looked around, but there was no sign of a fire! Four fire trucks came into the court along with an ambulance, cops, and those fire SUVs. They ended up going to our next door neighbors house! Here our neighbor smelt/saw smoking and it ended up to be in the sons room. It was about to be an electrical fire if she hadn't found it. Apparently there was to many things plugged in one of those long plug things that hold a couple at a time. The cat looked to be chewing on the wires at some point. While all the fire trucks were there I was either out front or standing at the door because Sophia was loving all the bright flashing lights. Her eyes were wide open and she wasn't even blinking.
